Crawler Cranes With Lattice Booms are designed to work on off road applications and require numerous trucks to transport the crane carbody, tracks, counterweights, boom sections, etc. to job sites.

They require additional time to erect and will generally be on a job site from weeks to months.

There are also lattice cranes that are known as ringers. The largest lattice crane is capable of lifting 3.5 million tons.
